Instructions for Viewing the Repairs Video

How to get the video...

Before you access the Repairs Video, please read the following:

There are two basic ways for me to serve a video file to you: via HTTP and via streaming video. Unfortunately, at the moment I can't afford the software tools to implement steaming video. Therefore, you are limited to accessing the video via the HTTP method. What does that all mean for you? Please read on…

You can get to the video by clicking the link below. However, the video probably won't begin to play until the entire video file has been downloaded. Since the file is over 550MB in size, this could take a long time, depending on the speed of your internet connection. If it does begin to play before it's completely downloaded, it may be jerky, with lots of pauses.

I suggest that the best way to use the video is to take the time (when you have it) to completely download it and then save it on your hard drive. That way, you can play it whenever you need to without having to have an internet connection. That would be best if you wanted to play it to follow the instructions while working on your watermaker. When the file is completely downloaded, you should be able to right-click on it and save the file. Or, if you have a program installed that can download videos, you can use that.

Final note: If you've viewed the video and used it to install a Repair Seal Kit step-by-step, you'll end up with a couple of unused seals—e.g., the large one for the membrane end tube plug (which I didn't disassemble), possibly an extra poppet valve seat, etc. Don't worry about that; it's normal.
